AOMEI Partition Assistant is one of the best hard disk partition apps you can get for free. The features are very complete with an easy-to-understand interface.

By using this one application alone, we can do almost all hard disk management processes. Starting from dividing partitions, and checking the health of the hard disk, to creating a bootable disk.

On this occasion, technocentric will provide a review based on experience while using this application. The part that we will review are the important points that determine the quality of an application, namely the appearance of the interface, features, and performance.

1. User friendly interface

The first impression when dealing with the interface of this application is "clean". AOMEI Partition Assistant has a comfortable interface on the eyes. The design looks professional and not foolish.

In terms of navigation and layout, the menus are also very neat. It didn't take long for me to understand the various functions of the menus and buttons on this application.

Although it is used by beginners, I don't think you will have any difficulty in operating this application

You can see from the screenshot above, this application has a clean appearance. All the important menus are neatly arranged on the left, and some additional features are at the top. It didn't take long to be able to understand this application even though it was the first time to use it.

2. The features are complete and can be a "one stop solution" for managing the hard disk

The word "best" that I pinned to the AOMEI Partition Assistant application at the beginning was not just lip service, but did come from my experience as a user of this application.

In terms of features, AOMEI Partition Assistant provides very complete features in the free version. This application can not only help us divide hard disk partitions, but almost all hard disk management activities can be done with just this one application.

You can see for yourself, in the free version alone this application can meet almost all the needs of managing the most frequently used hard disks such as resizing, merging, deleting, and creating new partitions.

The features I really like are Make Bootable Media and Windows To Go Creator. With this feature, we can turn the pendrive into a portable Windows that we can use on any computer.

I usually have to use another app to do this, but by using AOMEI Partition Assistant it's all simplified in one app. Steady!

You probably can't expect that many other apps will want to provide such a complete feature for free. Please prove it yourself, surely you will have a hard time finding it.

3. All processes run in wizard mode so that it is easy to use by novice users

In terms of ease of use, this AOMEI Partition Assistant application is also very easy to use even for beginners. All tasks are executed in wizard mode which only requires a click-click. There is no need for special skills to be able to operate this application.

4. AOMEI Partition Assistant performance trial

Next we will review how the performance of this application. I will do a trial to divide the partition on an 8 GB pendrive. Previously I was going to change the partition type first to NTFS.

So the 2 features that we are going to try are the Convert to NTFS feature and the Create partition feature.

On the trial of the Convert to NTFS feature, all went very smoothly. And the pendrive that was FAT32 was successfully converted into NTFS in just a few seconds.

Next I will try to divide the pendrive partition into 2 partitions. The process is very easy, the following image already explains all the steps that must be done through the mode wizard.

After pressing the OK button, we will return to the main window. Next we just have to press the Apply button in the upper left corner to start the partition division process.

The test result on this Convert to NTFS and Create Partition feature is SUCCESSFUL, smoothly without any problems.

I also immediately restored the partition on the Pendrive as it was and changed the format again to FAT32 and it worked. All processes run in just a matter of seconds.

There are many other features that on this occasion I may not be able to test their performance one by one, but what is clear is that this AOMEI Partition Assistant application is very powerful for the size of free applications.
